settled is a digital platform that connects individuals or companies seeking or offering locations for the creation of digital content, such as photo or film shoots.
Who can become a settled user?
Both individuals and organizations can use the platform. You can either offer a location (Provider) or search and book a location (Seeker).
Who uses the settled platform?
The platform is used by both Providers and Seekers. Providers may be professional or non-professional users — such as owners of photo studios, film sets, restaurants, garages or holiday homes — but can also be private individuals offering their apartment, studio, or garage box.
Seekers are typically professional users: freelancers or teams looking for a suitable location for a specific project. These may include production companies, advertising agencies, location scouts, influencers, or organizers of lectures and workshops, among others.
Students may also register as Seekers, but only under a temporary student subscription.
What subscription types are available?
SPECIAL OFFER: Discover our platform with a 1-month free trial!
settled offers different subscription plans, which determine what you can do on the platform.
A Seeker can post a location request describing the type of assignment, the desired location (and specific spaces), the date, and the available budget. Providers with suitable locations will receive a non-binding notification of this request. If they agree with the proposed terms, they can apply with their location.
The Seeker then receives an overview of all candidate locations and, depending on their subscription, may also access the database to find and contact Providers directly via the built-in chat system.
Communication between both parties takes place safely within the platform. It is recommended to ask the right questions, such as: how many people will be present, what are the working hours, will furniture be moved, what insurance is provided, should the Provider be present throughout, what about potential noise, how will parking be arranged, etc.
Once a suitable location has been found, the Seeker can submit a booking request. The Provider can then review and either accept or decline the request (with a reason).
Note: settled offers optional templates such as a rental agreement but is not a party to any contract. Signing, invoicing and payment are handled directly between Seeker and Provider.
After the project has taken place, both parties can confirm that all administration has been completed and optionally leave a review or file a report.
